How Do I Meet People?

There are many opportunities to build new and meaningful relationships at Grant’s Creek.  Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, here are some of the ways you can get to know people in our church.

Small Groups
Small groups of people better lend themselves for interaction and fellowship than larger groups. For that reason Grants Creek Baptist Church offers Sunday School and Discipleship Training classes for all ages. This helps to really get to know those with whom you study God’s word.  Social activities are also a part of our small group ministry.

Children’s Ministry
Essential to a growing church is an active children’s ministry. With activities for preschoolers through elementary school, there’s always something going on for children at Grant’s Creek.

Youth Ministry
The youth ministry of Grant’s Creek seeks to provide a godly alternative for the social lives of our own young people and also for the youth of our community.  The center of their activities is instruction in the ways of Jesus – how to know Him personally and how keep His commands in a world that is hostile to Him.

Young Adults
Life can get complicated once you cross that threshold into adulthood. Serious relationships, bigger stakes, and many more decisions. The young adult group of Grants Creek provides loving, prayerful support for college and early-career aged young people during this crucial time in their lives.

Men’s Ministry
Grant’s Creek Baptist Men’s Ministry meets once a month for fellowship, inspiration, and discussion of ministry projects.  The group actively seeks to reach out and help those in need, both in the church and in the community.  A group of men also meets every Tuesday morning for prayer.

B.A.L.L. Club
Once you get past fifty the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, this over-50 group (Be Active Live Longer) provides refreshment, ministry, and valuable interaction.
