We believe

…The Bible is the perfect Word of God and is our sole guide for the practice of our faith.

Psalm 119:160 – “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever”.

…God loves every human being with a perfect, unconditional love.

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.

…God is holy and righteous; that is, He is perfect in every way.

Psalm 145:17 – “The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works”.

…All of us in the human race are born separated from God by a nature of sin. Because of our sin nature we continually choose to sin, and the consequence of our sins is eternal death.

Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”;

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”.

…Because of God’s great love for us, Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, paid the penalty for our sins on the cross of Calvary.

Romans 5:8 – “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”.

…Jesus conquered death and hell by rising from the grave.

1 Corinthians 15:4 – “And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures”:

…Jesus is coming to the earth again one day to reign forever more.

Revelation 11:15 – “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever”.

…We can be forgiven for our sins and have eternal life with Christ by turning from our sins and placing our faith in Him as our Savior and Lord.

Acts 16:31 – “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house”.

…The church is the family of God. God’s plan for every believer is to worship and serve Him with other believers in the context of the local church.

Hebrews 10:25 – “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching”.

…God has given the church two ordinances – baptism by immersion for all who profess faith in Jesus Christ and the Lord’s Supper.

Matt. 28:19 – “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”:

1 Cor. 11:23-26 – “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come”.
